Linda is the CEO and Founder of Angels In Waiting, a 501c3 Charity and Author of Assembly Bill 1133 . She has over 28+ years working in level 3 intensive care neonatology and pediatric units. Linda, has cared for more than 17 medically fragile foster care infants and children from her home as an Independent Nurse-Foster Provider and have adopted three of these precious souls.  She created Angels In Waiting, her 501c3 charity to network and outreach to dedicated nurses to become foster/ resource parents for medically fragile infants, children, and youths. Through the hands and heart of nurses, Linda hopes to rescue every medically fragile foster care child in California, and than through-out our Nation. She has recruited more than 500+ Nurse-Foster Parents who have become Independent Nurse Providers for Medi-Cal’s EPSDT Home Nursing programs. Her Assembly Bill, AB 1133, which is entitled Foster Children; Special Health Care Needs; In now going onto the Federal Platform. This powerful, legal tool will save countless childhoods and save billions of dollars, through the hearts and hands of nurses !

Currently Nancy is the position of Director of Operations for AIW. Nancy has devoted a considerable segment of her time and expertise to the organization for the last three years and was additionally responsible for procuring AIW’s charitable organization corporate status. Ms. Van Buskirk presides over the daily operations of all departments of AIW and ensures that they conform unequivocally to their non-profits specifications, rules and regulations. As Director of Operations, Ms. Van Buskirk additionally works synergistically with the CEO of AIW to promulgate the expansion of the organization. As a certified information Systems Project Manager at Morrison and Foerster Law Firm, Ms Van Buskirk developed the consummate skills necessary to carry a project from its inception to an accurately budgeted, timely and efficacious completion. Ms. Van Buskirk has a BS degree in Nursing and has been certified in Business Management, Project Management, Human Resource, Technology Management and Software classes. All classes included financial management training that focused on budgetary skills.


James is a retired engineer for Boeing. He holds a B.A. degree in Political Science from Hartwick College and a M.B.A. from National University and draws on a wealth of business experience to help Angels In Waiting prosper. He has been a foster parent for 17 medically fragile foster care infants, children, and youths and an adoptive father of three medically fragile foster children.

Over the course of her 37 year legal career, Gloria Allred has won countless honors for her pioneering legal work on behalf of women's rights and rights for minorities.
